A special issue titled Materiality of Interreligious Encounters, edited by Anastasia Badder and Lea Taragin-Zeller, appeared in Material Religion (20, 5) in December 2024. It was based on a workshop (Materiality and the Future of Inter-religious Encounters) organized by the editors at the Cambridge Interfaith Programme (CIP), Cambridge University, in September 2023, where Birgit Meyer gave a keynote lecture (https://www.interfaith.cam.ac.uk/news/special-issue-materiality-interreligious-encounters). The issue includes a selection of articles based on the workshop presentations, and an In Conversation section opened by Meyer with a short essay In-Between: Studying Lived Plurality from the Interstice (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/17432200.2024.2425195), and responses offered by Ayala Fader, Vlad Naumescu and Jeremy F. Walton.
For an extensive presentation of the issue see the announcement on the CIP site:

The issue was launched on 21 May 2025, with presentations by the editors, as well as by some of the contributors (Birgit Meyer, Yulia Egorova, Sami Everett) and a response from Jeremy Stolow. See the recording of the launch here.
