On the 18th of May, the annual NGG spring meeting (and general members meeting) will take place at Tilburg university. During the meeting, both the Gerardus van der Leeuw PhD Dissertation Award and the Cornelis Tiele MA Thesis Award will be officially awarded.

Dr. Stefan Binder, the winner of the 2018 PhD award, will hold the keynote lecture titled ‘Total Atheism in South India: Toward a translational perspective on the secular’.

In addition, a round table discussion will be held on (non-)religion and dealing with death and disaster. If you want to contribute to this discussion by briefly pitching your current research please mention this when registering. Finally, there is also an opportunity to share your recent publications with everyone on our book table.
