Synergy Conference

1 February, 2019

On Thursday 7 February 2019, the NWO organizes the Synergy Conference. Synergy is the occasion where topics impacting the Social Sciences & Humanities disciplines will be debated from a 360-degree perspective. In short: THINK360! You can expect a diverse and exciting programme. Register now for Synergy conference on Thursday 7 February 2019.

Be inspired by our international speakers like author Philipp Blom, researcher Sally Wyatt, Spinoza laureate Birgit Meyer and novelist Maxim Februari. They will debate with you about the value and impact of the entire field of SSH research. Young talent will be given a podium in Science Battle, current SSH topics will be explored during the parallel sessions and there will be plenty of opportunity for inspiration, meetings and conversations at the Network Plaza.

THE IMPACT OF DIGITALISATION

One of the conference topics is the impact of digitalisation on science and on our everyday lives. For example, how do big data and artificial intelligence influence SSH research? How does science benefit from the digitalisation of sources? What do robotisation and virtual reality mean for society? At the end of the day, you will return home with new and surprising insights and you might also have acquired promises for future collaboration.

FOR WHO?

Anyone working in the Netherlands in SSH research, from PHDs and postdocs to professors, directors, policy makers and professionals from civil society organisations involved in SSH research should not miss this event.
