In the upcoming summer semester Birgit Meyer is a fellow in the DFG-sponsored Kollegforschergruppe Imaginarien der Kraft – Imaginaria of Force- at Hamburg University. This multidisciplinary, long term program explores “force” through the vector of subsequent topics. The project Meyer will be working on during her fellowship is: Imaginaries of Forces in Colonial and Postcolonial Interfaces: the Legba-Dzoka Collection in the Übersee-Museum Bremen.
