Birgit Meyer has just published a new blog on the website of Africa Knows!, which accompanies a conference programme centering around the theme of decolonization. In ”Studying Religion in and from Africa”, which can be read here, Meyer discusses the study of religion in (and ultimately from) Africa in relation to theoretical trends within religious studies as a whole, providing new insights and propositions with regard to the desired reconfiguration of the field.
